JerseyClick is a one-person studio based in Clifton. We build websites and run local marketing for small businesses across Passaic, Bergen, Essex and Hudson counties, with occasional work further out. Close enough to meet in person when it helps, which for a lot of owners it does.

Google weighs distance heavily in local results. That is good news for a small business and it changes how the work should be scoped.
You are not competing with the whole state
A salon in Nutley is not fighting a salon in Cherry Hill. It is fighting the four salons within two miles. That is a much cheaper fight to win, and it is why we build for city and neighborhood terms rather than statewide ones.
Every town behaves differently
Wayne is spread out and full of homeowners who research before calling. Passaic is three square miles with six competitors per block. Paterson runs on reputation and has an almost empty map pack. The same strategy in all three would be wrong.
Knowing the market saves you money
We know which corridors matter, which towns feed customers into which, and which keywords have no volume despite sounding important. That mostly shows up as us talking you out of things.

Passaic County
Our home county and where most clients are. Clifton, Paterson, Passaic, Wayne, Totowa, Little Falls, Woodland Park, Hawthorne, Pompton Lakes, West Milford, Ringwood, Wanaque, Haledon and Prospect Park.
Bergen County
Hackensack, Paramus, Fair Lawn, Garfield, Lodi, Elmwood Park, Rutherford, Lyndhurst, Teaneck, Englewood, Fort Lee, Ridgewood, Bergenfield and the surrounding boroughs.
Essex County
Newark, Montclair, Bloomfield, Nutley, Belleville, Verona, Cedar Grove, Caldwell, West Orange, Livingston, Irvington and Orange.
Hudson County
Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Bayonne, North Bergen, West New York, Secaucus and Kearny.
Morris and Union
Parsippany, Boonton, Denville, Morristown, Lincoln Park, Pequannock, Fairfield, Elizabeth, Union and Roselle. Slightly further out but regular working territory.
Remote anywhere
We have built for clients in New York and in Quebec. If the project fits and you do not need in-person meetings, distance is not an obstacle.

Live, submitted to Google, forms tested, plus a walkthrough video. Your hosting, your logins, your site.
One person, which is the point.
JerseyClick is not an agency with account managers. The person you speak to on the first call is the person who builds the site, sets up the Google profile and answers when something breaks eight months later. That limits how many projects run at once, and it is the reason the work does not get handed down to whoever is cheapest that quarter.
It also means we say no sometimes. If your budget is better spent on a Google Business Profile than a website, we will tell you that on the free call even though the profile work is a fraction of the fee. If your category is too competitive for the budget you have, you will hear that too rather than finding out in month four.
Most projects are a one time fixed price with an optional monthly plan for maintenance, SEO or social. Nothing is locked behind an annual contract, and every account, domain and login stays in your name from day one.
